Introduction

This hackathon is organized by RobAgri and his members Opal-RT in collaboration with 4D-Virtualiz and INRAE with the roboterrium TIRREX in the framework of the big challenge of the agricultural robotics.

Your mission, should you accept it:
  • In a limited time, your task is to weed a field, avoid moving and stationary obstacles, pass through a shed, and climb a slope to reach the finish line.
A hackathon with:
  • Two stages:
    • The first stage of qualification with a light simulator using ROS2 and Gazebo from 5 November 2024 to 8 January 2025 in remote -> the best teams for the whole challenge will qualify
    • The second final stage at FIRA from 4 to 6 February 2025 in Toulouse with simulators from Opal-RT and 4D-Virtualiz interfaced with ROS2.
Conditions for taking part:
  • Be able to travel to Toulouse if selected for the Final Phase
  • Have a team of at least 2 and no more than 6 members
